STEM CELL THERAPY
What is stem cell therapy?
Stem cell therapy is the process of isolating adult stem cells from abdominal fat and reintroducing them into the body wherever they can do the most good. The process begins with extracting a few ounces of fat from the patient in a “mini” liposuction procedure. After the fat is removed, the stem cells are isolated using a state-of-the-art centrifuge.
Once isolated, the stem cells are then reintroduced to the body by IV and/or targeted injections for more localized treatments. Local treatments can help with knee, shoulder, and other joint pain. Stem cells can also be applied to the face, neck, and scalp using a micro-needle system to give you a healthy and youthful look.
All treatments are outpatient procedures, conducted in a sterile environment at our office, utilizing state-of-the-art equipment. The process is safe and relatively painless with minimal downtime.
What are stem cells?
Stem cells are the body’s raw materials or natural building block-cells from which all other cells with specialized functions are generated. Stem cells can maintain and repair tissues. Stem cells are unique in that they have the potential to develop into many different types of cells. Stem cells can seek out areas that need repair or restoration. Our body’s natural healing process is reasonably efficient, but modern science can now accelerate your regenerative process.
Where do they come from?
There are primarily two types of stem cells used for treatments: embryonic and adult stem cells.
Embryonic stem cells are derived from embryos. Adult stem cells can be derived from a patient’s own body. Adult stem cells exist throughout the body, however the most abundant, and the most accessible source is your own adipose fat.
BENEFITS
We use adipose (fat) derived stem cells for therapy!
Mesenchymal Adult Stem Cells (ASC’s) derived from peripheral fat have been found to yield a much greater number of pluripotent stem cells than those coming from blood, bone marrow, or controversial embryonic sources. This high-dose of stem cells can be obtained and re-infused in just a couple of hours.
The entire procedure is complete in the same day using your own stem cells given back to you after being less than minimally manipulated with our revolutionary methods. Dynamic stem cell therapy’s procedures are minimally invasive and safe. We provide the entire 3-4 hour procedure all within our beautiful clinic.
The yields through harvesting adult stem cells from fat have been shown to beat any other method by a factor of 5 to 10 times or more.
We don’t use controversial embryonic stem cells.
We don’t use these because these are not your own stem cells. There is a risk of your immune system rejecting these stem cells. There are also ethical concerns and study findings of tumor formation.
We distribute autologous stem cells through Intravenous (IV) delivery.
Stem cells reintroduced IV are delivered through your blood stream, pumped by the heart, which allows the extracted cells to go wherever your body is in need of repair and rejuvenation. Not only localized benefits, but systemic.
Potential regenerative healing can be achieved in this minimally less than manipulated process. Some studies have shown this delivery method is superior for central nervous system repair. This way, cells have the capability of crossing the blood-brain barrier. Patients receive their own autologous cells, so there is an extremely low risk of immune rejection.
A boost of immune function and an overall reduction of inflammation in the body have been noted in patients who receive systemic IV delivery.
The benefits last...
Results will vary from patient to patient depending on the ailment and the natural variation in isolated cells. Results have been shown to last 5 years depending on the ailment and the age/overall health of the patient.
*Disclaimer: We deliver stem cell enriched treatments. The milieu extracted and delivered is rich with stem cells but it "does not single out any one particular cell group", as no differentiation has yet occurred. This is provided as a service and as a practice of medicine only. This procedure is not a drug nor do we claim it to be a cure for any condition. Our protocols follow same day tissue transfer guidelines and “minimal manipulation” guidelines as set forth by the FDA.
